The Red Devils have made a good start to the season, with Stoke City the only team to prevent them from taking three points so far, and many in the pub now think that a title challenge could be forthcoming.

Everton will not be an easy side to overcome, though, with Ronald Koeman’s team filled to the brim with top quality talent.
That said, Man Utd have a lot of talented players too, but it appears as though they will have to do without one of them for this weekend’s clash. According to the BBC, Paul Pogba will miss this weekend’s clash through injury, with the Frenchman facing at least a month out after suffering a problem against FC Basel in the Champions League.
A hamstring problem is to blame for Pogba’s absence, and given how good he has been this year, this is bad news for the Red Devils.
He has been influential going forward this term, and whilst Mourinho does have options, nobody is better than the Frenchman on his day.
Time for Mourinho to get his thinking cap on.
Landlord’s Verdict
This is a big blow for Man Utd, with the time frame being reported likely to pose a real problem for Jose Mourinho.
However, fortunately, the Red Devils’ squad is full of talent, and so the manager has a number of potential solutions.

Ander Herrera is the likely candidate, though given his disappearance from the squad in the Champions League opener, his status remains unclear.
Both Marouane Fellaini and Michael Carrick could be options too, so Mourinho will have to make a tough choice.
Either way, it’s bad news for Man Utd, as Pogba has been so important this season.
