Chelsea picked up a creditable point away to Liverpool on Saturday, drawing 1-1 in the English Premier League.

While perhaps not the ideal result to keep pace with league leaders Manchester City, it will be seen as a point gained rather than two points dropped.
Midweek exertions in the UEFA Champions League meant this as an especially tricky encounter but even after going behind, the Blues managed to find a way back into the match.
Mohamaed Salah’s strike in the 65th minute looked like enough to give Liverpool all three points but Antonio Conte made bold substitutions, one of which was bringing on Brazilian Willian, who chipped over Simon Mignolet to score a fortuitous equaliser.
Chelsea fans weren’t happy with some of their performers though and had harsh criticism for the likes of Tiemoue Bakayoko, who struggled to get to grips with the match in the middle of the park.

Supporters felt he was substituted off too late, with some even calling for him to spend some time on the bench going forward.
