'I could be leaving' - Chelsea Star Finally Opens Up with a hint on his future

Diego Costa has admitted he could be about to leave Chelsea, as speculation mounts that he could be set to seal a return to his former club Atletico Madrid.

Costa was strongly linked with a mega-money move to Chinese football in January, but he was persuaded to stay at Chelsea and went on to help Antonio Conte’s side clinch the Premier League title.

Now there are big doubts over his future once again, with the Spain striker confirming he would be interest in a move back to Atletico this summer.

Romelu Lukaku has been linked with a return to Chelsea two years after he left Stamford Bridge for Everton in a £28m and when Costa was asked by Belgian daily Het Nieuwsblad about a possible deal for the striker who scored 25 Premier League goals this season, he offer this response.

“I do not know, that’s a decision for the club,” stated Costa. “Of course Lukaku is a very big player who has played an impressive season.

“I hope he will have the possibility to sign at Chelsea because Chelsea is a unique club.”

When he was asked to comment on the improved for of Michy Batshuayi that he appeared to give a hint that his time at Chelsea is coming to an end.

“He is a big player and has an impressive future for himself,” he added.

“He has proven in the last games that he has quality and scoring ability. He is a boy who will take more big steps.

“Hopefully he will continue to grow and keep his head up. He has all the qualities to stay here.

“Chelsea might sign a new striker, Batshuayi may stay because he’s young and I could be leaving.”

Lukaku is reported to be ready to turn down the advances of all clubs in a bid to push for move to Chelsea, amid claims that he has set his heart on a return to Stamford Bridge.
