Chelsea have allegedly begun preparations for life after stars Willian and Pedro. Both players have been key influencers on and off the pitch in recent years; and while their importance to the club is without question, both are already approaching the peak of their careers.

Chelsea have a policy of not offering contracts of more than one year duration to players over the age of thirty, and Willian and Pedro are slowly approaching that age threshold.

Furthermore, Antonio Conte is also reportedly keen on bringing in a fresh face to partner Eden Hazard and Alvaro Morata in attack. He has identified Romania and Steuea Bucharest teenage sensation, Florinel Coman as his prime target. The left-footed player is so gifted and suited for success that his 88 million pound release clause has been
tagged by some as an inappropriate evaluation of the player’s true quality. He is skillful and pacy. He is the kind player that can cause a myriad of problems for any opposition team he is featured against; and, following the Blues’ recent struggles and underwhelming attackline, a player of his quality will surely be a huge addition to the club.

With the world cup in Russia next year fast approaching, Conte will look to sign him as soon as the next transfer window opens, as player prices traditionally sky-rocket after world tournaments – especially if such players impress the footballing world during the show.

Despite being so young, Coman will be a good addition to any squad he end up with.
