According to reports from the Metro, Manchester United target Fabinho has reiterated his intention of leaving Monaco during the current transfer window.
Manchester United splashed a sizeable £40million in order to acquire the services of Nemanja Matic from Chelsea this summer and one of the basis of the Serbian international’s brilliant debut performance in United’s 4-0 victory over West Ham United on Sunday, he looks like money well spent.

Despite the arrival of Matic though, United could still need to sign new midfielders as Michael Carrick has entered the twilight of his career and it does look like the current campaign will be the final one for the veteran at Old Trafford.
As a result, United are said to be in the market to recruit a player who can thrive at the middle of the park and Monaco star Fabinho has consistently been linked with a move to the Premier League giants in recent times.
To further spark speculation, Fabinho was captured storming off from Monaco’s training camp recently and the Brazilian is widely believed to be very unhappy at the French side at the moment due to the fact that most of the club’s star players have departed this summer.

Now to apparently push a move to United, the Metro have gone on to claim that Fabinho has made no secret of his desire to leave Monaco following the Ligue 1 side’s 4-1 victory over Dijon recently and there is now a strong possibility that the 23-year-old could end up at Old Trafford sooner rather than later.
