Coutinho have been involved in Brazil’s training this week, despite the fact he’s not turned out for Liverpool yet this season.
Jurgen Klopp has repeatedly claimed Coutinho has a back problem. But that seems to have been a huge lie, as Coutinho’s back was given a clear bill of health while on international duty.
Good news for Chelsea’s Willian
But has Coutinho’s lies caught up with him?
Globo, the leading Brazilian news outlet, have reported that Coutinho is set to be left out of the Brazil XI for the upcoming Ecuador game.
Globo reached that conclusion after observing Brazil’s training on Tuesday.
Coutinho was separated from the main group of Brazil stars, leading many to believe that Tite will not pick him for the next game.
Instead, Chelsea midfielder Willian is set to start ahead of Coutinho.
Willian has been heavily involved for Chelsea at the start of the Premier League campaign. He’s started all three EPL matches for Antonio Conte so far this season.
Possible Brazil XI v Ecuador
Globo have also suggested how Brazil will line up against Ecuador.
Chelsea’s Willian will be joined by Man City’s Gabriel Jesus in the team.
Neymar is set to operate down the left hand side, while his PSG buddy Dani Alves will be at right-back.
