Chelsea submitted their squad to take part of the competition till round of 16 and surprisingly, want away Spain forward Diego Costa was omitted from the list with Antonio conte preferring the Morata and Batshuayi.
New £70m striker Alvaro Morata is included in Chelsea’s Champions League squad, alongside summer signings Danny Drinkwater, Davide Zappacosta, Antonio Rudiger, Willy Caballero and Tiemoue Bakayoko.
