Ethan Ampadu impressed in his first season of senior football last year with Exeter City before being snapped up by Chelsea in the summer to join their growing youth ranks.
The 17-year-old has impressed during his outings with the Chelsea U23 side and has put pen-to-paper on his first professional contract, according to the talent agency that handles Ampadu.

Yet to make his senior debut for Chelsea, there’s a chance that the Welshman could be involved for the Blues in their Carabao Cup clash with Nottingham Forest this week.
The midfielder became Exeter’s youngest ever player last year at 15 years 10 months and 26 days and was called up to the Wales senior squad for their last two qualifiers but was an unused substitute in both games.
