Chelsea are set to continue their huge summer spending with a offers in for Juventus full back Alex Sandro and Torino forward Andrea Belotti.
The reigning Premier League champions are not resting on their laurels. Most successful teams only want to tweak a winning formula. Yet Antonio Conte is making his mark on his squad with a host of high-profile signings. That is set to continue this week with two huge transfers on the horizon.

First up is Juventus defender Alex Sandro. The position was not thought to be an off-season priority for the Blues. They have Marcos Alonso as the incumbent and Azpilicueta as good second option. However Conte wants to have two quality players for each position. An assault on the Champions League is the club’s priority and Sandro lit up that competition last season.
With Alvaro Morata settling into the Chelsea side and Diego Costa on the way out Chelsea will continue with their pursuit of Torino striker Andrea Belotti. The Blues had a bid rejected this week and will have to meet the £88 million release clause. To reach that fee Chelsea will probably have to sell Costa first.;
With Eden Hazard missing with injury the Blues have looked predictable going forward. they are hoping to grab Belotti to provide a double threat with Morata. If they can sign both players they will revert to a 442 that Conte prefers. The much copied 352 formation is being well countered by opposing teams in 2017.

The Champions were humbled by Burnley on Saturday and want to have reinforcements in before the transfer window closes. Alongside Morata the club have brought in Antonio Rudiger from Roma and Tiemoue Bakayoko from Monaco. If they add this pair from Italy it will take their summer spending to almost £300 million.
