Ben Murray-Bruce, the Senator representing Bayelsa East senatorial district, has said that President Muhammadu Buhari's administration is trying to effect change in the wrong manner.
The common sense advocate in a tweet on Friday, January 27, said: "To paraphrase Barack Obama Change wont come if we keep blaming other people or other administrations. We must be the change that we promised!"In a live video streamed via the Facebook page of former president Goodluck Jonathan, the senator called on the President Buhari’s administration to be focused on taking Nigeria out of recession in 2017 rather than focusing on blaming him.
Bruce said it was a shame that some people were peddling allegation that the former president did no achieve anything.
“In 2016, we placed too much emphasis on blaming the immediate past administration of former president, Goodluck Jonathan.
The blame knew no bounds with some alleging that Jonathan did not achieve anything by way of infrastructure,” he added.
