A father in Japan has been arrested for committing a heinous crime against his 12-year-old son. The father is accused of stabbing his 12-year-old son to death after the boy failed to study for a school entrance exam. The father is currently in custody.

Kengo Satake, the boy’s 48-year-old father, told the police that he and his son got into an argument before the alleged stabbing. The son was preparing to take an entrance exam to a private junior high school, officials say. That’s when the father went berserk, stabbing the young boy several times.
The father was arrested after the hospital staff called the police. He told the officers that his stabbing of his son was accidental. The boy, named Ryota, died at the scene. His mother said that the boy and his father would routinely get into arguments about his studies. Does this father deserve to go to prison for a long time.
