Nigerian Striker, Kelechi Iheanacho Voted Man-Of-The-Match In City's 5-1 Capital One Victory

Flying Eagles forward, Kelechi Iheanacho has been voted the man-of-the-match following Manchester City's 5-1 victory over fellow EPL side, Crystal Palace in the fourth round of the Capital One cup on Wednesday night.

The Nigerian international appreciated the manager's effort with his 59th minute strike to increase his side's tally to three after 14 minutes of play in the second half.

Ivory Coast's Wilfried Bony opened scoring for the Pellegrini's side 22 minutes into the game and Belgium international, Kevin DE Bryune doubled his side's lead in the 44th minute.

Yaya Toure and Manu Garcia completed the City's 5 goals before got a consolation for Palace in the 89th minute.

Iheanacho has now scored twice against Palace, his first helped his side beat Alan Pardew's men 1-0 while his second came in the 5-1 capital on Wednesday night.
