Photos; 800 Living Ants From Germany Seized At China's Custom Border...Viewer's Discretion

Photos taken on November 2, 2015 show living ants carried in test-tubes seized at border Customs at Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport in southwest China's Sichuan Province. A total of 800 living ants have been seized in the past two days. The undeclared ants, which were carried in glass test-tubes, were detected in express parcels from Hamburg, Germany to Chengdu.

These ants, once starts proliferate, can cause greater damage than termites. It is reported that these ants are kept as pets by owners.
