Borrusia Dortmund are keen to sign Rennes’ defender Joris Gnagnon this summer but they will face competition from a number of clubs, including Chelsea and Tottenham, according to French TV channel SFR Sport.
Interest in the 20-year-old is very high with Sevilla, Bayer Leverkusen and Inter Milan also keen to bring in the French U20 star. In fact, Sevilla are reported to have made a bid of around €13m for the player and are still awaiting a response.
Gnagnon is keen to leave Rennes but he does not want to annoy or disrespect the side who helped him develop from a young age, so he’s unlikely to act up in order to force through a move.
Rennes hold all the aces and are likely to wait for a bidding war to take place before they decide whether to keep or sell Gnagnon.
