Have to want it
Chelsea manager Antonio Conte has claimed that any player who doesn’t want to be at Chelsea can leave – and if they don’t have the joy for his project and the club, he doesn’t want them.
Conte was speaking in his Friday presser ahead of the final weekend of the season, where his side have already been crowned Champions of course, and it seems that despite reports of Eden Hazard and Willian possibly leaving the club, Conte isn’t overly bothered.
Conte said: “First of all the player must have pleasure to stay in Chelsea – this is the first important thing.
“For me this is very important. Every player that wants to stay has to have the pleasure to stay.”
Willian’s future
One player who has been speaking about their admiration for another manager in the Premier League is Willian, who’s gushed about his special relationship with Jose Mourinho.
While that wouldn’t usually be an issue, the fact that Willian has been heavily linked with Man United means that his comments carry extra weight, and judging by Conte’s comments, he isn’t overly impressed with the winger.
